In the KK's announcement, the protest was initially calm, but in the afternoon hours at various intervals some suspects have thrown stones at three Kosovo Police vehicles, where two of them have been caused material damage by breaking their windows. A police official has suffered injuries as a result of assault by strong means.
Also during today's protest, some media/journalists have been hampered and attacked, as well as their vehicles were vandalised by individual/ criminal groups. The obstruction of journalists in office violates the right to speech, information and freedom of press”.
“We are committed to investigating these criminal acts and prevent the manifestation of violence. At the same time, Kosovo Police call on all protesters to refrain from violence and express their opinions peacefully”, the KP report said.
