Even a Pristina neighbourhood becomes underground network

Within the framework of the KED Investment Department investment plan, over 100 consumers of Pristina's Tasliage neighbourhood are made with underground networks.

This project, which began about two years ago, is at its conclusion and totals over 100,000 euros. A transformer has already been established, along with ground orms and underground cables and other supporting elements.

Engineer Fatos Hasolli, leader of the Middle Tension projects at the Investment Department, is pleased to implement modern projects that affect the improvement of sustainable supply for our consumers.

“We are satisfied when our work affects the sustainable improvement of quality electricity, particularly in those areas where the supply situation has been serious, implementing modern projects with the extension of necessary cables and infrastructure underground”, he says.

With this investment implemented, even our customers in this neighborhood express happiness, since they benefit a completely new electrical network that enables them to supply their energy with secure and very quality energy.

Under KED's investment plans, air networks have already been eliminated at the country's main centres, replacing themselves with underground ones.

Currently, over 250 different capital projects are being implemented throughout Kosovo.
