The presidency reacts after the explosion in the north: Another Criminal Attack

Following this blast, Blerim Vela, chief of Kosovo President Vjosa's cabinet, has reacted, saying this is another criminal attack in northern Mitrovica.

Through a Twitter post, he has said these criminal structures are being paid by Serbia in order to undermine the rule of law in the north.

“Another criminal attack in North Mitrovica. Serbia-funded criminal and illegal structures are hampering the rule of law in the north. This appears to be a response to the institution's action on removing illegal surveillance cameras set by Serbia, which will continue”, Vela wrote.

Police spokesman for the north region, Veton Elshani, has said a car and an electric pole have been damaged by this explosion.

There's been an explosion around 3:00. A car and an electric pole have been damaged as a result. Police are treating the case as causing general risk”, Elshani has said.
