Police rescue one person from suicide in Ferizaj

Kosovo police announced they have managed to save a person in Ferizaj from suicide Monday around 13:03. According to the announcement, the 62-year-old person had boarded a crane about 40m high on the “Ahmet Kaciku”, and was trying to jump. Medical teams have emerged from the centre [...]
Medical teams from the Emergency Centre, Police and the Fire Brigade have emerged at the scene, taking all measures.
The “road has been blocked for circulation, and immediately the shift supervisor has begun to negotiate with the victim and convince him not to jump/profess suicide from the height”, said the police report, while at 13:50, the victim has been convinced by Lieutenant R.H. to exit.
The victim has been escorted to the Ferizaj Police Station, while the case has been initiated as “attempted suicide”.
