In a hot, excited atmosphere in the packed gym “Minator” in Mitrovica, Peja's team triumphed with the score of 93-91, securing the first champion title in a decade.
The result after regular time was 77:77.
The final match between Peja and Trepca was filled with tension until the last few minutes, as both teams showed a high level of play and demarcation to get the champion's advantage and title.
During the entire match, the teams exchanged predominates and counterattacks, making the match remain in a state of constant draw.
With the draw at the end of regular time and lack of a clear winner, the match went towards continuing to decide the champion. This showed how the rivalry between these two teams was strong and that neither of them wanted to give up easily.
To penetrate the final, Trepca had eliminated the Union and Sigal Pristina, while Peja eliminated Golden Eagle star.
