The Kosovo Department for Finance co-ordinator for the Cabinet for Good Governance at the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Arben Mustafa, has voiced concern over the 24m euros spent by state officials at the time of Kurti's governance.
The current government opposed any cent spent by the preliminary governments. There are now increased luxury expenses, but capital spending has been reduced. Much is being invested in things that have little role in economic development”, Mustafa said.
According to him, the composition of current governance has violated any promises made before coming to power.
“There is an increase in lunch and dinner spending, while no traces are being seen in the economy. I don't know what this can reflect. The VV is doing everything it once opposed to”, Mustafa said.
The same claims are made by the opposition LDK.
These “have said that they don't need jeeps for fuel spending, they don't need bodyguards, and now it turns out it's going to be”, the deputy of this subject, Valentina Bulnjak for the Institute for Research.
This says government luxury is thick.
This government is a false government and civil fraud. VV has accused governments of luxury spending and of spending in a non-transparent way. However, the government led by it has doubled its luxury spending”, Bunjak said.
