Mej: Kosovo maintains clear stand against Russian politics

Also on this visit were KSF Deputy Commander General Enver Cikaqi, Kosovo Ambassador to Italy Lendita Hadzitation and senior defence ministry officials.

At this meeting, Minister Mehaj and his Italian counterpart discussed co-operation in the field of defence, education and training of KSF military in specialist field, special forces, aviation and medicine.

Also, Minister Meheaj expressed once again readiness to provide training in the field of urban research, demining and eliminating dangerous matter.

In addition, this meeting discussed both the geopolitical situation, the war in Ukraine, and the importance of unity for Ukrainian support in the fight against the Russian aggressor.

In this regard, Minister Mehaj indicated that Kosovo takes a clear stand against Russian and ongoing policies, as part of the Ukrainian Protection Contact Group, he stressed that our country is offering everything within our capacity, including the integration of refugees as well as the integration of Ukrainian journalists to Kosovo, and also providing training with specialists at the International Research Centre's Travel Centre.

At the end of this meeting, Minister Mehej thanked Minister Crosetto for the so far-off support provided by the Italian state, pledging to continue deepening this co-operation, which is in the function of maintaining all-out peace and stability.
