Louise Gega shows herself in Italy, the Red Champion takes second in the 5km street race

A prestigious event in which important names of world athletics competed, as is Louise Gega.
For the latter, Italian organisers in their description call “a star of continental athletics”, referring to the impressive results over Louise's years, which culminated last season with the title of Europe champion with record championships in the 3,000-treck event held in Munich.
By going to today's race, Louise took part in the 5km - long discipline. Albanian athlete ranked second with the time of 15.37 minutes, after Italian Ludovica Cavali (15.35) in a strong race that was placed only in the finish.
While the podium was completed by Hungarian Victoria Wagner-Giurks in time of 15.45. Gega was involved in this activity with the goal of breaking her personal record, but rainy time and no favorable terrain made that impossible.
The next stop for Louise will be on June 2nd at the “Diamond League”, where she will return her favorite discipline, the 3,000m hurdle race.
