Limaj: If it were currently VV in opposition, it absolutely burned Kosovo

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has told the Online Economy that Kosovo will “know” if the Vetevendosje Movement is in opposition and such an agreement with Serbia is reached. Meanwhile, President Vjosa Osmani calls it violators of the Constitution.

The head of the initiative has said it is insufficient for the opposition to do only speeches in the Parliament and public debate on television. According to him, there are thousands of ways of making opposition.

Limaj considers that the work of the opposition is making the media more than opposition leaders.

This parliamentary opposition is unfortunately in a complex. It has not yet been released from a strange complex for me, even in many of this prime minister's actions, blames the opposition with its silence, with its failure to activate, the lack of active opposition. Today Kosovo citizens are in the mist, most of the citizens do not know what the Brussels agreement is, citizens still do not know what happened in northern Kosovo, and this explanation before all I have to give the opposition, and this explanation is not done with a speech in the Assembly, and this explanation is not done once a week in the session or in a public debate on television”, Limaj has said.

“The media cannot do the opposition's work by 100 percent, as opposition leaders are trying. All the opposition in Kosovo is doing today, unfortunately limited to those plenary sessions, in which even there is no right to protect the issue. There's enough initiative. Never has Kosovo had more transparent dialogue than that happened in Kurti's time, the agreement has come, and there are two sessions for dialogue”, Limaj said.

Limaj has also predicted what would happen if the Vetevendosje Movement were currently in the opposition.

Limaj also has criticism of the way the former CEC chairman Valdete Daka has been dealt with. According to him, President Osmani has violated the Constitution in this case.

Limaj has also talked about the visa liberalisation process, which he says the current prime minister has no credit for the process.

Meanwhile, according to Limaj, Kosovo's application to the Council of Europe is due to the war in Ukraine, the EO reports.
