EU spokesman Peter Stano has confirmed these visits and said they are being made to prepare future steps within the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the EU.
“EU Special Representative Lajcak regularly travels to the region and visits Pristina and Belgrade, especially after high-level meetings in Brussels, to continue progress in what has been achieved or what has been agreed on in Brussels and to prepare the next steps”, Stano said.
“in this context, I can confirm that it will be Thursday in Pristina and Friday in Belgrade”, he added.
