Kurti is surprised by US sanctions, says it is excessive and unfair decision

Kurti has said that there is a slight difference in approach between Kosovo and the US, until she adds that imposing measures and sanctions is unproportional and unfair.
He has also said he is surprised by the American decision and has considered the American reaction as “excessive reaction”, the Express broadcast.
“We have a slight change in approach ) and I think that the thought of sanctions against Kosovo seems out of proportion and unfair”, Kurti said in an interview in the GLOBSEC conference margins in Bratislava.
“I was surprised”, he added, characterizing the American response as an excessive “recommation”.
The US has decided to exclude Kosovo from military exercise “Defender Europe 2023”. The US ambassador has also indicated that the US has no interest in lobbieing for new recognitions of Kosovo and has added that it would be surprised if any US-Kosovo summits took place.
