Until he spoke of increased revenues and general grant to municipalities, Kurti said the latter are citizens, not political parties.
“The general term for municipalities for 2024 will be 284.7m euros, which represents the highest value for this grand”, Kurti said.
He said that this results from increased revenues.

The prime minister said this was wrong then and wrong is now. “The government is of all and municipalities, and municipalities are citizens and not political parties”, he added.
Days ago, the executive director of the Association of Kosovo municipalities, Saban Ibrahimi, accused Government and Kurti of bypassing municipalities in decision-making and of not addressing concerns raised by the local level.
The government has approved administrative guidelines for child medical and psychological treatment, victims of abuse, to help rehabilitate and reintegration into society.
The establishment of the ad-hoc commission for the review of complaints in the candidate recruiting process for the Commission on the Versatile Competition Authority has also been approved: Agron Gashit, Qorhurije, February Krasniqi.
Following the resignation of two members of the Steering Council of the National Qualification Authority, the government has approved the names of Behrije Ramaj and Ylber Jocaj for new members.
These statements and decisions were made at the collection of 142 of the Government of Kosovo.
