Three days ago, Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that he has international support for operations in the north, but after three days, American Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier exposed this statement by Kurti, saying that recent actions were not in co-ordination with the United States of America.
US Ambassador Jeff Hovenier has declared today that the annulment of Denender 2023) is the first consequence for Kosovo, following recent actions in the north.
He has said that at this moment, the US does not have much enthusiasm to respond to some of Kosovo's interests.

What's going on: Western diplomats and institution leaders condemned the violence in Zvecan, where groups of Serb protesters clashed with NATO peacekeeping forces. About 30 soldiers were injured, as were dozens of protesters.
Tensions in the north rose since May 26th, when Kosovo Police entered Serb-run municipalities by force: Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq, to install new Albanian mayors, emerged from the extraordinary April elections.
Kosovo authorities blamed the Serbian illegal structures for the violence in the north, while Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq held Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti responsible.
