(3 years ago)Kosovo police, says that referring to circumstances and developments occurring yesterday (29.05.23), where protesters, individuals/ criminal groups, with extreme violence displayed, have caused the situation in terms of security in the country's north to escalate and degrade to the risk of people's lives, including the lives of [...] institutions officials.
“Protests in the three municipalities north of the country of Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan are continuing even today near municipal objects, the situation is currently estimated to be fragile, but quiet”, it has announced. PK in a media communique.
Kosovo police say that, under official duty, they are continuing with commitment to providing security and prosperity to the protests, and are co-operating/coordinating activities with KFOR and relevant institutions. At the same time, police units are taking all investigative actions regarding yesterday's cases and developments.
Kosovo police today still invite citizens to calm down and not fall prey to calls for violent protests and provocations of whatever nature they may be. /Periscopi/
