In an evening media communiqué, KFOR has condemned the one-way <x0 actions” and has called for content.
On Friday at noon, amid tensions, the new mayors of three municipalities in northern Kosovo -- Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin-Potok -- entered municipal facilities one day after the oath. Police intervention has been needed to evacuate protesters and barricades before municipal facilities, to enable the mayors to enter municipal facilities. The situation has been tense, and police have faced shock bombs fired by protesters. On the other hand, Serbia has put the military on high alert.
