KFOR, EULEX monitor situation in the north

KFOR and EULEX members have arrived near the Zvecan municipality facility when an hour ago a group of Serbs were gathered to reject entry into the site of the newly elected mayor. A KFOR helicopter is also monitoring the area from above.

Several official Kosovo Police cars have been destroyed by the protest group, while gunfire have been heard.

So far, other than material damage, no injured person has been reported.
