Riztuccia in an interview for the Italian newspaper “La Repubblica”, speaking of events in northern Kosovo, has said that in Zvecan there have been people who have deliberately promoted the “crowd” of Serb residents who have been gathered for four days before the municipal object.
On the other hand, Riztuccia has said that if it were not for KFOR's mission to the north, things would have gone very wrong.
If we hadn't intervened, we would have been mourning for the dead”, Riztuccia described the situation that could escalate further without KFOR's presence.
Meanwhile, protests by Serbian citizens in Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq are continuing for the third day in a row.
Of these protests, KFOR soldiers and members of the Kosovo Police have been injured and wounded. /Democracy. com
