KFOR: 25 soldiers wounded in Zvecan

Through an answer to Time, KFOR has said that today's afternoon KFOR units have been deployed in Kosovo's 4 northern municipalities to stem violent demonstrations that occurred after newly elected mayors tried to take office in recent days.
During the protests, KFOR has said some soldiers of the Italian and Hungarian contingent of KFOR were the target of unprotested attacks.
According to the announcement, soldiers have suffered fractures in various parts of the body and have been burned by the explosion of the heaters.
KFOR has said they have received immediate medical treatment from KFOR medical units and are currently under surveillance by the medical team.
The KFOR mission's <x0.>Comandant, General of the Angelo Michele Ristuccia Division, personally is conveying the development of the situation and expressing his sympathy for the men and women of the mission injured during the clashes. He stressed that unprotested attacks on NATO units are unacceptable and KFOR will continue to fulfil its mandate impartially”.
