So stated yesterday the head of the Kosovo Police Union, Imer Zeqiri, who visited the Specialised Police Units Camp in Belvedere.
Five policemen were injured during Friday's tensions, until several police cars were damaged.
There he met with Interior Minister Xhelal Svecla, Police General Director Gazmend Hoxha, as well as other police officials.
“As far as conditions are concerned, police are said to be complete with all the equipment and logistical means needed for performing official tasks”, the union's announcement said.
At this meeting, Minister Svechla also discussed the failure to discuss additions to risks and other demands by the union.
He [Svecla] said he is working for all but without setting any timetable, but I declare he is very determined to do the best possible for police”.
The chairman of the Union has also visited the Mitrovica Regional Directorate and the South Police Station, where he met with police and superior officials from whom he was directly notified of their conditions and requirements, such as additions to risklessness, health insurance, the retirement law, and other known demands for all.
“against demands, the will and morals of police and superiors was at the highest level in terms of performing official tasks in defence of the order, the country's constitutionality law”.
