We have agreements that the deespass should take place, but I don't know if there is agreement on how it should happen. What I can say is what the United States is looking for is that we believe it is not necessary for elected mayors to work every day from those [communal] objects. Hovenier, questioned about the answer he received from Prime Minister Kurti, said it is not up to him to speak on behalf of the head of government, but that he can only give the US position.
He has now said that, as the oath of the young Albanian mayors of Leposaviqi, Zubin Potok and Zvecan in alternative objects has been made, their work should continue.
In the end, he has condemned the attacks on the official vehicles of KFOR, Kosovo Police and media teams, as well as attacks on journalists.
