Haliti issued this statement after being asked if he believes the current government can carry out all the tasks charged by 18 August in relation to dialogue with Serbia.
I believe that if Kurt doesn't sign, he will fall from power. If there is no implementation, there will be new elections. Inevitably, it has been discussed in certain circles that the Kurti Government could collapse and there could be elections in September. So that happens if he does not perform the duties he has been assigned. We're not strong enough to make such resistance”, Haliti declared on the “debate tip” in Tv1.
According to him, the West even wants the agreement to be concluded as soon as possible and separate the responsibilities of each one.
Kosovo's “government has postponed 10 years to implement the agreement signed in Brussels. As far as I can see, the West is rushing and wanting to conclude the deal as soon as possible, they want to define the reports, to share each of the responsibilities for themselves”, he added further.
