“On weekends closed the regular 2022/23 competition edition in Alby Mall Superliga. An edition, which of all football connoisseurs, was praised as one of the best championships after Kosovo's membership in UEFA and FIFA.
Throughout the season, the situation was unclear as to the title of the champion, as well as positions ensuring entry into European races and those leading to a lower rank of races. These factors made the edition very interesting, and they influenced the quality of the championship and the visibility to be high.
However, the 36th round matches, in which it was decided to fall from the league and enter equality, make a lot of fuss and brought controversy and comments. In view of all these circumstances, the NK has received all relevant information for the two most controversial matches of this film, Ferizaj-Dukagini and Trepca89-Pristina.
After the end of these matches, the FFK's respective bodies, in line with UEFA's internal regulations and norms, have taken appropriate measures and have begun the process of collecting statements and testimony from all the officials of these matches to address and review them with maximum seriousness.
At one time, the NFFK reacts harshly to any stains that are done with pressing and accusing statements, until it is determined to preserve Kosovo's image and football, after all the investments it has made for a competition as long as “fair-play”. The FFK will not allow individuals, groups or anyone else to spoil its and Kosovo football image.
The FFK is open to co-operation with all organs and encourages them for detailed investigation into any irregular claims in the championship. Already, the NFF has informed the relevant organs of the Republic of Kosovo and has offered them co-operation in addressing the issue further.
The Federation, in co-operation with the National Council for the Prevention of Violence in Sports, and through it and with the State Prosecutor, will be fully committed to investigating all match-making claims and destruction of “fair-play”. Any claim proven will be severely punished in line with relevant legislation and regulations.
The FFK will continue to engage with maximum dedication to protect race integrity and the image of Kosovo football in general.
In this context, the Federation invites all football protagonists, such as officials, players, trainers, fans and media, to engage in promoting sports values and respecting the rules of the game.
Only by acting in accordance with the principles of <x0wair-play”, our football can continue to grow and be the most popular sport in the country, so we all have to work together so that bad phenomena don't take place in our football”
