Inner elections in LDK, this party's General Council meets today

Otherwise, Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has declared that on 1 June the party he leads will enter domestic elections.
He announced that the election process will take place on seven principles.
“Today, the LDK leadership has decided to announce domestic elections. For us this process is a holiday because the LDK always believed in democracy”, Obadiah said during his press address two days ago.
He further indicated that there are no differences within the party, while adding that he is aiming to have greater presence of young people in this election process and that at one of the deputy positions of the party is a woman.
“No disagreements within the party. The party has been more united than ever. Today the head of the LDK without a single vote has approved the principles I presented. All are interested in having an open and involved process of young people and women, as well as one of the deputy heads' positions to be women”, he stressed.
Abdixhiku has added that a decision has been made to open four branches in Kosovo's northern municipalities, to have reshuffles in some of the party's branches in municipalities, as well as to have territorial branch organisation in the Magyar.
