The Kosovo Defence Ministry announced that, due to the situation in northern Kosovo, the previous activities for today within the framework of international exercise “Defender Europe <23x1> are cancelled.
Other details were not given.
From 21 May, Kosovo has become a host of the biggest international exercises in the Balkan region, “Defender Europe 2023“, [European Protector 2023].
It is pre-priced for these exercises to last until June 2nd and over 1,300 soldiers of the Kosovo Security Force, along with 24,000 military members of 25 NATO nations.
