Speaking of the guarantor letter of the former High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Federica Moghrini, sent to former Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa, that the association will not represent the third level of power in Kosovo, Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has announced. He said that letter is helping Kosovo today. He made that statement during an interview at RTV21.
We found it a good safety. Look now you have to use everything in your hand”, Conjufca said first.
If you have a powerful government you can use that letter, if you're weak, you throw it into the trash. Depends on how you conceive. We use it today, but I don't rule out the government that Mustafa used. I didn't say anything. If he's worked out that letter, I'll give him my hand. There's your hand. That today is helping us”, Conjufca said.
Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has criticised the European Union's emissar for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, saying he is not impartial.
“Lacak seems to me in the way he conceives negotiations is like talking to two states that have not defined the statute. It needs to be clear that Kosovo has long defined the statute. For 15 years, Kosovo has defined the statute. If you think so that the Association does not prejudge anything and all open options are wrong. If you think that all European options are on the table again and wrong”, Conjufca said on Thursday on the “Click” RTV21.
On the other hand, Konjufca has said that Kosovo is not a federal state and will never be.
Kosovo is not a federal state and will never be. It's a unitary state. Made up of its entities; and the entities are municipalities in their own. And Kosovo has two levels of governance. Communist and central. There are no federal organs and no territorial autonomy. If Lajcak says everything's on the table, he's wrong”, he said over to Conjufca.
