Hycoli, has said that the minimum wage has not changed since 2011, where, according to him, Kosovo is in the last ranking in the region.
The minimum wage has not been negotiated since 2011, we have a very low minimum wage in the region, in Europe and perhaps the whole world. We have a minimum salary of 170 euros. The minimum wage is negotiated at the end of each year, to be ready for next year, to grow on inflation as well. But we don't have the minimum wage since 2011, and that's why we have what we have”, he said on the “Resublica” show.
He has said BSPK's demands for minimum wage growth have not been taken into account.
“The requirements were not taken into account, that if we had taken into account, if we had the general collective agreement we would have the minimum wage according to standards that meet the negotiations the commission made and we would have even improved rights of all employees in the country”, said the union chairman in Tv1.
On the other hand, he said that as soon as you raise minimum wages.
“We agree that as soon as the minimum wage is raised on the basis of mathematics, which the commission appoints, which is a trilateral commission, from the social partner, from the employer, from the Government and Union”, he added.
