Not a cent for Skender, Nura: Instead of Government, it should thank donors

The Kosovo government has not yet compensated for the damage to the municipalities affected in this year's floods, why it pledged it would do so. The head of the Skyeraj municipality, Fadil Nura, in a proposal for Blic newspaper says no step was taken by the Government of Kosovo, according to him, even at meetings to address the issue.
Nura says she has a meeting with the Central Commission, but information from the government about what she will do with the promise she has not.
No step has been taken, nor is there information that will be taken any step from now on. We've done our job, we've assessed the data, as the Law on Natural Disasters says.
We've proceeded further, with the Central Commission, I've had a meeting with them where they handled this case and they followed it to Government, but I don't have any information”, Nura said.
In addition, Nura says that five houses have already been launched in Skenderaj that have been completely destroyed by the floods, so he has thanked Halil Kastrati and Selim Pacolli.
“We have not had a meeting, neither with the president nor with the prime minister, why they pledged that municipalities affected by the floods would be compensated. Or, with Halil Kastrac and Selim Pacolli, we started five houses that were completely destroyed. I would like to thank the government, but I have to thank donors for helping us”, Nura said.
In the municipality of Skoud, the flood damage accounts for over 10m euros. That's at least from the assessments that have been done in the field.
