The meeting discussed excellent relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the United Kingdom and opportunities for further defence co-operation.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for his repeated visit and support to Kosovo in all phases of its development, while congratulating him for the enthronement of King Charles III and Queen Camille.
He announced Minister Heappey with Kosovo's progress in these two years of governance, stressing that Kosovo has made significant economic growth for both GDP growth and investment and increased revenues.
After stressing the increased budget in the field of defence, he deemed it necessary to enhance co-operation between Kosovo and the united Kingdom in this direction with co-operation, training and new military equipment.
So far, 28 Kosovo Security Force cadets have successfully completed the military education programme at the Royal Military Academy of Sandhurst.
Minister Heappey underlined that Kosovo is a success story and we have to work together to promote the progress achieved here.
It was estimated that the role of the United Kingdom in the region contributes to freedom, democracy, and progress, so it should be as active as possible.
