“I have told Montenegro's ambassador to the Council of Europe to vote for Kosovo's admission to that organisation”, Montenegrin incumbent Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic said at the session called by the Parliamentary Commission for International Relations and diaspora.
He said that in Montenegro's foreign policy nothing has changed, and that the state has pursued a responsible and consistent policy.
“Montenegro voted along with 33 other countries”, Abbasovici said further.
On Monday 24 April, Kosovo's application for membership in the KiE went to the second phase.
In the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers, the country secured 33 votes out of 46 as many as voted.
