Ymer: This form of election organisation in the north does not make them legitimate

Ymer at the “Five” RTV Dukaagjini has said the election issue in the north has had to be discussed in Ohrid in the negotiations process and that failure to keep elections has its impact on the negotiator process.

This form of election organisation certainly does not make them legitimate, of course neither in the international eye nor less in the eyes of other non-partial states with the Republic of Kosovo. I consider that this issue had to be discussed in Ohrid, in the negotiation process in which the elections would have to be arranged, as the law and the Constitution foresees. Failure to keep elections has its impact on the negotiating process. Because even if we want to speed up the process of establishing association as the government in Belgrade is insisting, yet without elections it can't become”, Ymer has said.
