Even when workers get hurt, Independent Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi says no one supports them.
According to him, in Kosovo labour risklessness is fourfold larger than in the West.
He considers that working conditions have not changed, nor have wages increased despite drastic price hikes. Azemi says Kosovo has no reason to celebrate May 1st, the international workers' day.
Many countries are open to work, but Azemi stresses that citizens do not want to work because of low wages.
Azemi considers that Kosovo does not have to celebrate May 1st, the international working day.
Independent Kosovo Private Sector Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi says there is no improvement of conditions for Kosovo private sector workers.
Further, it points out that there is no minimum wage increase or health insurance.
The Kosovo Private Sector Union will protest tomorrow, with the requirement for improving workers' conditions. The protest will start from the “Zahir Pajaziti” square, directed by the Kosovo National Theatre.
