White House concerned about other leaks of classified documents

The White House confirmed that it is concerned by the possibility of leaking other secret documents in the future after publishing a host of classified documents on social networks mainly for the war in Ukraine. Investigations into the source of the leak are continuing, and officials have made it clear that they pose a danger [...]
The White House says there is the possibility of publishing more classified documents for the war in Ukraine, while American authorities are investigating who stands behind the flow of classified documents already published on social networks.
We don't know who's responsible for this, and we don't know if they have more documents intended to publish. This is an issue of concern for us”, said White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.
Mr. Kirby said that American authorities are still trying to determine the validity of the documents, but have realized that at least some of them have been changed.
One of these documents says the number of Russian victims ranges from 16,000-17,500, while Ukrainian forces have lost up to 71,000 soldiers. General Mark Milley, U.S. Army Chief of Staff, has said last November that Russia has lost over 100,000 soldiers as much as Ukraine has lost, figures that have grown so far.
The Justice Department is conducting a criminal investigation into this. I think every American can understand that to protect this country every day, one of the things we have to protect is information and how we collect information. I think you can understand why everyone has taken these” documents very seriously, said White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby.
“A team of Pentagons continues to examine and assess the authenticity of photographic documents that are being circulated on social networks and that in some cases seem to contain sensitive and highly classified materials. These photos seem to show documents similar to those we use for daily information that we give to our senior leaders on operations related to Ukraine and Russia, as well as other intelligence updates. Some of these images seem to have been changed”, says Chris Meagher, assistant of US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin.
Researchers, who specialize in tracking social media, including the organisation “Bellingas”, say documents may have circulated for weeks online on the Discard discussion platform before being published on the social Twitter network.
According to the Pentagon, after being informed of these publications, Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin contacted the Allies, held daily meetings to assess the damage and created a group not only to assess the extent of lost information but also to examine who has access to it.
