As the Office for Co-operation with Vucik's Media announces, Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq and members of the government of Serbia will attend the meeting.
Serbian List Deputy Chairman Igor Simitri has said today that political representatives of Serbs from Kosovo will have a meeting with the president, prime minister and ministers “will clearly convey how Serbs live in Kosovo and Metohija”.
“Once again we will present everything that (Kosovo Prime Minister) Albin Kurti is making the effort to defeat the lives of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija, beginning with arrests and charges, and ending with the attempted murder of (Milan Jovanovic near the Bridge of Bistrica),” has charged Singlemen on Pink television.
Members of the Serb community from northern Kosovo on 12 April protested and demanded the withdrawal of Kosovo's special units from that region, following the wound of a fellow citizen.
The protest is held in Zvecan, on the main road, which is known by local residents by the name “the bridge of Bistrica”.
A special Kosovo Police Unit has been deployed in that country, and on April 10th, an incident has occurred, where Milan Jovanovic has been wounded.
In protest, local Serbs have even initiated a petition for the withdrawal of Kosovo special forces.
Kosovo police, who initially denied involvement in the incident, suspended four policemen allegedly involved in the shooting.
Meanwhile, the international community has called for urgent investigation into the case, while Kosovo Interior Minister Jalal Svecla has said the first investigations have shown that the driver has not stopped at the police signal, which has since fired.
For this reason, following the intervention of the Police Inspectorate and the prosecutor, four police officials have been arrested, as well as being assigned the detention measure for 48 hours.
