Visa liberalisation, Azemi orders Kurti: January 1st, minimum wage must be 450 euros

Azemi says visa liberalisation will make owners reflect by paying workers with the salary they deserve.

As he expressed his concern, Azemi also indicated one last case at a Kosovo company.

The visa liberalisation will provide little for company owners and I think that the sadness these people have done to the workers, nowhere else will it be. Yesterday I visited a renome company in Kosovo, where all the goods broken at their office premises are billed to workers. What's wrong with those who receive this sentence?”, Azemi said.

I don't think there's going to be a big escape as expected, since those who are behind the intention to leave and are in the process will emerge very quickly. This is favourable for the citizens of Kosovo who will move freely, but on the other hand there will be positive setbacks for the private sector that will be paid just as they stand by”, Azem added.

Azemi says private company owners have enslaved workers, and with visa liberalisation they will lose them.

The biggest losers in this circle are the owners of companies, because they have endlessly enslaved workers because they had labour powers”, he said in a proposal to Blic newspaper.

Azemi says Prime Minister Kurti must be prepared as early as 2024, for the salary to be 450 euros, while adding that his office is cleared of a 130-euro salary worker.

Even today, the Kosovo prime minister's office cleans up a worker who pays 130 euros. I would tell Kosovo's prime minister: “Prepare that as of January 1st, the minimum wage should be 450 euros, because your office will remain unregulated because of the labourer's non-esteem position”, Azem said.

In this situation where we are, with a salary of 130 euros, this is a horror and I'm really saying that even those who, until yesterday, killed us have done this and left us on such a salary”, he said.
