USA: On May 2nd, Kurti and Vuciq discuss forming association

The US representative to the Security Council, Jeffrey deLcredits, has stated that at the May 2nd meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Brussels, will also be discussed for the subsequent steps of forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities, in line with the Kosovo Constitution. DeLcredits at the UN Security Council's session on Kosovo, said the US encourages Kosovo and Serbia to move swiftly to implement their commitments and avoid crises that could hinder progress.
Albania's permanent representative to the UN, Ferit Hoxha, reacted not to allowing Minister Donika Grovalla to speak in Albanian, saying this is against UN rules.
He cited accepting Kosovo's request for the Council of Europe, as well as stopping in Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, namely, the Ohrid Agreement.
The president of the UN Security Council, Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, has also responded to the rule 44.
He reacted to the US representative to the Security Council, Jeffrey deLcredits, telling him the Albanian representative's clarification was appropriate. And Russian Nebenzia told him that the US position on issues related to Kosovo is already known.
France's representative said they are satisfied with Kosovo and Serbia's commitment to normalising relations and reaching agreements in Brussels and Ohrid.
According to her, France expects commitment from both sides to European integrations and invited both sides to refrain from insulting language.
The United Kingdom representative welcomed the Government's efforts to fight corruption, saying they support Resolution 1244, but conditions on the ground are unacceptable since 99, and time shows that a review of UNMIK's status and adaptations are needed on the ground.
He added that Kosovo and Serbia should commit to establishing association and creating security conditions for leaders in the north.
