It becomes known that the protest will be held before the introduction of the KSKUK central administration.
But the head of the QKUK Health Workers Union, Progress Berisha, says about “Index”, that the protests were called by an association, which has no members and has been expelled from the Health Union Federation, which has blocked them and their accounts.
” They're trying to take advantage. They have been within the federation, have had disappointment and that no members. The Federation has ruled them out and has them recorded”, he said.
And the same is confirmed by the head of the Kosovo Health Federation (FSSHK) Tevide Imer. The source for “Indexline” has confirmed that the Association, which has warned protests for health workers, is not legitimate and that there are no members.
There is an association that is registered and has membership. And it's an association that seven months has no members. This is under the umbrella of the Federation that has not invited protests. We were actually talking protests, but we didn't set the date. They've probably heard about the moves we have to make and then they're in a hurry, out of focus and because of the lack of membership. They are simply not legitimate, they have lost legitimacy legally automatically. Because the law says three months if you're not a member, you lose your legitimacy. They're not in coordination with us because they automatically lost their legitimacy. Seven months are members and have ignored no decision by the KSF board of directors. I don't know what qualities they're calling the protest”, she said.
