First trial hearing in The Hague ends with former KLA leaders

Today, the first trial hearing in The Hague has ended with former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders Hashim Thaqi, Kadri Veselin, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. Former KLA commanders have heard charges of war crimes weighing on them by the Specialised Prosecutor's Office.
In that form the trial officially began against former Liberation Army leaders, who were two and a half years in custody at The Hague in the Netherlands.
The Special Plan is to present evidence and call witnesses to the courtroom to take place a week later, April 11th.
140 people have been admitted as participating victims in the judicial process.
Until a day before the start of the trial against Thaci and others, The Hague Specialised Chambers have issued a media communiqué concerning the judicial process.
The communiqué reportedly is scheduled for the opening statements in question to be held on April 3, 4, and 5th, starting at 9: 00 a.m.
