Independent Private Sector Union Chairman (SPSPK), Yusuf Azemi, has told Online Economy that this strike has been warned four months earlier, but that, according to him, they have not been taken to base their demands. The criticism is also available to the director of the hospital, accused of uncommunication.
“has been a warning for more than 4 months that we have warned the hospital directorate that lack of adequate wages, with a salary of 287 euros, cannot work any longer. After four months, the insistence that we talk about, dialogue and increase this salary has not had results, and eventually 18 days ago we went on strike, for which we immediately two days have communicated with the director of the Hospital Administration, in fact our request has been seen as legitimate, but our demands that we have written to 4, 5 months ago for salary increases they say the administration has not guided us, but that does not lead to”, Azem told EO.
Azem has declared that the strike will not be cut unless the salary increases to 450 euros. He says he lacks the will to have the pay done as much as is required.
The problem is that the hospital by what I can do without pushing the process forward, there's a legal way we've discussed it all is only lacking the will of the hospital, so that these salaries will rise to 450 euros. So everything is legal, there's legal support, there's tools, but why they're setting up the issue that comes to this day”, Azemi says.
Azzem says that the workers there are as responsible as the doctor's, for he feels that the primary job behind the doctor is done. He has promised to visit again on Tuesday, as they insist on their demands.
We're always talking about workers who are on strike, because I've visited them three times and have to visit them again, they're persistent because the normal thing that can't be lived and can't work on what they have, it's a very sensitive job to do the maintenance of hospital operating halls is not easy work, but it's a huge responsibility, that it's the doctor's responsibility to control the patient as much as the responsibility of these workers to maintain the operating halls and that it's the conditions, because there's no way of growing up, even when I said their hospital station was legitimate.
As he spoke about the strike of these workers, Azem calls the demand for salary increases legitimate, with the case being certified, says confirmation has also been obtained by hospital directors. He expresses regret at patients for this strike.
The host's <x0ormal of the house is always guilty because at the moment when a problem arises, you have to call the workers, you have to call the union and explain it's possible, we're sitting together and with the executive director and the other directors and the demand is legitimate, the model of how to get to the end of that we've been at the table they've promised that for two days, that's not going to end yet. We are sorry because of the patients, but in the first place that we should be sorry, we must regret the Hospital Directorate because they are paid for this”, Azemi said.
