The chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, has said Krasniqi from the Centre for Pre-prisonment is running KEK.
He has criticised the language used by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, according to him, must dismiss the KEK director and not protect him.
“E considers it unacceptable and harsh, the prime minister's response to the KEK director's arrest. He still keeps the KEK director's position already in custody, he from detention and runs the country's most important energy corporation is harmful. What had to happen was for this person to be fired, the board to be fired, to be taken action against other acts, for abuses that have occurred”, he said.
Tahiri has said the PDK is preparing criminal charges in the Special Prosecution in connection with abuses in the energy sector.
“In the investigative commissions, abuses have emerged that we are prosecuting as criminal charges in the special prosecution. For us, it is unacceptable that the director continues to be in custody and, at the helm of KEK”, he said.
On the other hand, Tahiri has indicated that he will invite Prime Minister Kurti, and Economy Minister Artane Rizvanolli, to inform the opposition and citizens about the misuses at KEK.
