The survivor of the Poclek Massacre remembers the horror experienced

It was the call of the River after the cease-dance of weapons.

All he saw was washed with blood, traces of these that have not yet dried up in the Musqorly family home in Poklek, Drenas.

Lumniye Muqolli, is among the six survivors of this massacre, where after the murder of over 50 of her family, their bodies were massacred and burned.

On the anniversary of this crime, she relates how Serb police surrounded the house and began firing children, women and elders.

In that massacre I've experienced very serious moments. We were there, 53 and we stayed from 09 am until 4 and a half o'clock in the evening. We were listening to the show Free Kosovo, and at that point we were stopped by two policemen in the living room and they took Uncle Sinan out and asked him if you were the boys, and he told you I didn't have them here. We've been trying to get out and they've been yelling at us in their language that doesn't come out. We went into the living room and they broke into the same cop's room and they took Uncle Sinan and Meera and they took them out and shot them two before the massacre happened. We heard the blast and We knew what happened to them and to us. At that moment we started going outside, the same police officers went in and didn't let us out, from the stairs of the house, and in the hallway they started shooting”, she confessed.

After her uncle's murder, she recalls how the bombs were dropped in the room where they were staying with dozens of families.

The other guy opened the door to the living room where we were and shot the bomb like gas. That's where I'm losing consciousness, it's a terrible smell and it's closed the living room door and you hit me with the cars. At that moment he thought he killed them all and I was lying there among the 53 members of the family, having Elshani, the Carap of the Mounds. I've been trying to get up and know they've gone. And the song screams who's alive. When I saw myself when I was gone, I was bloody, I was wounded in my left hand, my daughter was in my hand three and a half years. I didn't know if she was alive or dead. And at that moment I'm just saying, "Choose up who you are alive, it adds until it says it didn't have the strength to help the other wounded."

Furthermore, Lumniya relates that when she got out, she saw Serbs getting ready for the burning of lifeless bodies.
