Emergency crews received a call at 3: 00 a.m. for a serious <x0-sherry” at the Eclipse night club in Bodmin, officials said in a statement.
A man in his 30s lost his life as a result of his injuries, while seven other men and women were injured, police said.
The seven injured were taken to the hospital with life-free injuries, authorities said.
A 24-year-old from Bodmin has been arrested under suspicion of murder, attempted murder and deliberate injuries.
