Fire at Shkodre Hospital, patient evacuated

It becomes known that the fire has fallen into one of the surgery rooms on the fourth floor of Regional Hospital.

Police and medical staff have evacuated patients, avoiding any risks.

At 7:05 p.m. this morning, on the fourth floor of Shkodra Regional Hospital, one of the rooms in the Surgery Department has burned.

Police and fire departments immediately went to the scene.

The timely intervention of services enabled the neutralization of flames, preventing the spread of flames in other rooms as well as the complete extinction of the fire.

There are no wounded persons out of the fire, only material damage.

The investigative group follows the work of whitewashing the cause of the fire crash, allegedly accidental”, the police report said.
