Shasha: If this government has met the last criterion, 94 have been met by someone else

Institute Director E PIC, Demush Shasha, has spoken about the decision on visa liberalisation for Kosovo that was adopted today by the European Parliament.

Shasha said the government is taking full credit for liberalisation.

He said that if the last criterion has been met by this 94 government, it has been met by others.

The European Parliament adopted the visa liberalisation decision for Kosovo citizens on Tuesday, with which decision-making procedures on the issue are concluded.

The approval was made without a vote, as there was no objection.

A day later, on April 19th, the legal act for visa liberalisation will be signed, while the only step that must be taken after that is publishing the decision in the EU Official Journal and entering into force.

The EU Council of Ministers has approved visa liberalisation for Kosovo with a simple majority last month. /Periscopi/
