Serbian List Begins Propaganda, Blames Special Police Unit for Injing a Serb

In response, the Serbian List has condemned him as they called him the “tentative for killing Serbian Milan Jovanovic by the Kosovo Special Police Unit”.

They have blamed the police for practicing terror against the Serb population in the north, while demanding that the Special Unit urgently leave the north of Kosovo, as they say there are illegally.

Serbian “List strongly condemns the attempted murder of Serb Milan Jovanovic by the special Kurti forces in the Bistrica Bridge, on Kosovska Mitrovica street ão Leposaviq and calls for the urgent withdrawal of all special units that are illegally present in northern Kosovo and Metohija, and the continued harassment of the Serb people in this area, the punishment of the attempted murder of Milan Jovanovic, but also Miljan Delevic and the publication of videos made by cameras in the Bistria Bridge for both mentioned events.

Kurti's special forces, who are illegally present in northern Kosovo and Metohija, have once again shed Serbian blood and tried to kill our fellow citizen Milan Jovanovic from Zvecani on the Bistrica bridge.

This notorious, illegal provision of Albanian special forces has become a symbol of Albin Kurti's regime depression on Serbs, which I tried to try for the second time to kill a Serb.

The citizens' further anger provokes the verdict that those responsible for the attacks on Serbs are hiding from the highest authorities in Pristina and the minister at the helm of Svechla, who undoubtedly supports the illegal actions of these entities.

We call on international representatives to urgently condemn the savagery of these pre-police units that are oppressing ordinary citizens and to seek their withdrawal from the north of Kosovo and Metohija, to restore peace in this area and to prevent the risk of life, but also of peace and security of all citizens”.

Kosovo police deny reports involved in wounding a Serb in north

Kosovo police have dismissed reports by several Serbian-language media, who have claimed police officials of this institution have attacked a Serb community resident in the north with firearms.

Through a media communique, police have said they are conducting investigations into allegations that a shooting wound has occurred.

Kosovo's “Police are not involved in any case of shooting with firearms, and remain devoted to investigating and lighting the case as soon as possible of the injured person, who is being treated at the hospital centre in northern Mitrovica, where according to doctors is out of danger for the life of”, is said in the communique.

Some Serbian-language media have quoted a man as saying that only members of Kosovo Police Special Forces were present when he was injured at the Bistrica Bridge near Zvecan.

The director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government, Petar Petkov, has condemned what he has considered an attack carried out by Kosovo Police.

We're talking about a man who has three kids, we're talking about a taxi driver. At that illegal checkpoint, Kosovo police stop Serbs every day and bully them. We have said several times that they have no right to stay in northern Kosovo, because it is contrary to all agreements”.

The municipalities in northern Kosovo -- northern Mitrovica, Zvecan, Leposaviq and Zubin Potok -- are inhabited by Serb majority.

This region is often a hotbed of tensions.

Last week, a member of the Serb community has been assigned a month-long detention measure, which allegedly set fire to cars with RKS RKS Republic of Kosovo license plates in Zubin Potok, the majority Serb municipality in northern Kosovo.
