On September 1st, population registration begins, for the first time northern municipalities are included

But September 1st is the date when, in 45 days, the census will begin, family economies and dwellings -- the process first after 12 years in Kosovo.

Data ID will be done by modern methods. Many jobs have been accomplished while fewer are left. Besides the commitment of five thousand people as professional staff, another challenge is the census in the four northern municipalities that will become available.

Following the election of new mayors there, the process is expected to help intensification campaigns.

For this process, the Kosovo government has earmarked about 12m euros.
