The two opposition Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) are considering that, with agreement in Ohrid with Serbia, Prime Minister Albin Kurti has violated every red line, the Online Economy reports.
From the Democratic Party of Kosovo, they say Kosovo of this agreement has the implementation role, and according to them, Serbia is demanding. And from the Democratic League of Kosovo, they say they are afraid of what Prime Minister Kurti can bring Kosovo from the two-May meeting in Brussels.
LDK MP Driton Selmanaj, in a proposal for Online Economics, has criticised Kurti for changing attitudes.
He even claims that at the May 2nd meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Kurti can bring Kosovo and what damage will be a serious legacy.
“Unfortunately with the Ohrid Kurti agreement has violated any red line that the state of Kosovo and I say Kosovo institutions have decided for many years now. With the Ohrid Agreement, I have the conviction that both Association and many other issues have been exceeded. In this context nothing positive is expected from this prime minister anymore. What we expect is, or are afraid of its irresponsible behavior because the damage that will bring Kosovo in relation to Serbia seems to be a serious legacy for everyone living in Kosovo”, he said.
He said that from the two May meeting, the previous one to take place in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia, there can be nothing positive, adding that Kurti can also keep up preliminary agreements by making tolerances.
So nothing positive has shown us that this is able to accept everything, unfortunately everything I accept, even beyond those agreements that have once been reached between the state of Kosovo and Serbia”, he told EO.
MP Hisen Berisha's PDK said the international community's expectations for the meeting are clear for both countries.
“The expectations are clear, we have the positions of international representatives and their concrete demands. The prime minister in the Brussels and Ohrid Agreement, all those obligations included under Brussels' agreement on the Franco-German plan and those on the Ohrid implementation annex are clearly defined and will only be interpreted by Lajcak”, he said.
Berisha said Kosovo at the two May meeting does not have the comfort of maintaining positions, as according to him, Kosovo in this case is obliged to implement the agreements and Serbia has a demanding role.
Kosovo no longer has the comfort and right to interpret and maintain positions, but the opposite. But it only needs to be a doer, at the moment Serbia has the role of insisting and demanding, while Kosovo is obliged to implement”, he said.
Kosovo and Serbia will hold the next summit on two May in Brussels, already in what is being considered the next “game”.
Recent details about the meeting between leaders have given emissary Miroslav Lajcak.
The main goal of the meeting in Ohrid was to reach the implementation agreement. This process peaked, and today we are in another game. The dialogue has reached a higher level of”, the Slovak diplomat said initially.
He has made it known that he is satisfied with the results so far, though, he announced that at first he has made efforts for his daughter to agree to a more ambitious “anex”. / EO
