Selmanaj for elections in the north: Kurt has brought north into a situation where there is no order and no law.

Former Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister and LDK MP Driton Selmanaj has said that after sabotaging elections by northern Serbs, the meaning of holding them has also been lost. He has said that the tense situation in the north of the country has resulted from Prime Minister Albin Kurti's irresponsible and fallible behaviours and [...]
He has said that the tense situation in the country's north has come as a result of the irresponsible and wrong conduct of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his government.
Even according to him, the situation is being improvised by power so things seem to be moving positively.
The existence of democracy is for people to participate in elections and through elections to choose their democratic institutions. And from what we have understood so far, a large part, the share of those who have represented the northern Kosovo Serbs until yesterday have decided not to participate in the elections. Then in essence as a democracy, the meaning of election organisation is lost if there is eventually a sabotage of them”.
“On the other hand, it must be said that this situation has come as a result of irresponsible, very wrong conduct of this prime minister and government dating north of Kosovo. It has brought Kosovo's north into a situation where there is no order and law, there are no institutions, nothing. And now it's entered the cycle to improvise, I think it's an improvised step to prove that things are moving, but I'm not actually seeing positive stuff”.
The outlook for the north should be different, it should be much more pragmatistic, it should be in close co-ordination with the international factor, so that any step taken there should have both democratic legitimacy and constitutional morality in Kosovo, but also have positive effects on the extent of sovereignty in that section”, he has said of “EO”.
