Rubin: NLA was US partner, together we stopped genocide and brought peace

Rubin has stated this in an interview for Albanian Post, while saying Thaci was considered US representative. KLA.

“The KLA as partner in peace talks and Hashim Thaci represented KLA”.

On the other hand, he also praised former President Thaci's commitment to signing the Rambouillet Agreement.

“Later, Thaci continued and stood by his vows to us by agreeing to demobilisation of the KLA even after they had won the war. They kept all the promises they had agreed with the United States. I consider our relationship with them crucial to bringing peace, security and stability to Kosovo. Without their decisions and their partnership, this would never have happened”, Ruby said in the interview.
