“We have divided many, discussing promises and dangers of artificial intelligence with different government groups and organs for years. We too are concerned about the risk of accelerating technology. But there are two things about him: The first is that after we completed the ChatGpt4 training, we spent more than six months to secure it before we published it, the second is that we are not currently training Gpt 5, unlike the paper, and we have not done and are expected to try it in the next six months”.

Many fear that ChatGpt will have influences that could threaten the stability of our democracies, for example, by eliminating millions of jobs. How do you see this?

artificial intelligence will transform the structure of our reality and our society. Today, it is used mainly as a support, an assistant that improves one's work. But as other general technologies I expect it to change the nature of certain jobs: maybe it won't create new ones, which we can't imagine, others will change. I don't think it's possible for a single company to solve the problem, but we take it seriously and do research to study possible interventions”.

Rarely have we been able to control the development of a technology - the desire for stronger means or economic interests is very strong. Should decisions be left to private companies?

No, it is really important that governments and society as a whole are part of conversation and decisions. Technology is a tool, we can use it well or badly. This is different, it brings about the possibility of something great and wonderful and also of great danger. That's why it's so important to be stable in the way we present it in the world. But the solution is not to stop innovation: is to understand it, to be able to predict its capabilities and be responsible for its development.
