As he spoke of relations between the two states, and the possibility of breaking the situation in the region, Rama said only peace could bring Serbia's apology to Kosovo, writes online Reporter.net.
There is no doubt that danger exists and that danger will make us think about peace, think about maintaining a unity among the countries of the region. All those other things come true. If we want Serbia to one day apologise to Kosovo we must make peace. Not so easy to forgive is the process. So we must make peace. And the peace thing is much harder... There are some who say that peace is much harder than war. I have fought. I prefer peace. Of course, war is the last”, Rama said, followed by The Geopost.
According to him, the interest of the West and Albanians is for Serbia to line up with the EU and the US, rather than isolate itself.
Rama said that children should not inherit the passion for war.
Which is most important to our children's future in this region, to inherit their passion to fight against each other and above all the things that Albanians wherever they are and those of Kosovo specifically, as they have had most of the suffering under Slobodan Milosevic's regime, must never forget, that Albanians have won the war. Albanians have won their fight”, Rama has declared.
